The Route
Ostwärts durch Österreich: Wels (Rotax), Wiener Neustadt (Diamond Aircraft) und Salzburg (Hangar-7) – und über die Alpen zurück. Kurze Legs, vertrauter Luftraum, keine Grenzübertritte.
Eastward through Austria: Wels (Rotax), Wiener Neustadt (Diamond Aircraft) and Salzburg (Hangar-7) – then back over the Alps. Short legs, familiar airspace, no border crossings.
Ostwärts über den Bodensee, Vorarlberg, durchs Inntal an Salzburg vorbei ins Oberösterreichische Flachland. Nachmittags: BRP-Rotax Fabrikbesichtigung in Gunskirchen.
Eastward over Lake Constance, Vorarlberg, through the Inn Valley past Salzburg into Upper Austrian flatlands. Afternoon: BRP-Rotax factory tour in Gunskirchen.
Südost über das Alpenvorland. Landung auf dem Diamond-Hausflugplatz LOAN – dort, wo unsere DA40s gebaut werden. Ganzer Tag: Diamond Aircraft Fabrik, Austro Engine, Flugmuseum Aviaticum.

Vormittags west nach Salzburg, Besuch Red Bull Hangar-7 (Eintritt kostenlos!). Flying Bulls P-38, Corsair, DC-6 und mehr. Lunch im Carpe Diem Café, dann Heimflug über Inntal oder nördlich der Alpen.

Wie es funktioniert
How it works
Das Fly-Out richtet sich an alle fertigen Piloten (PPL oder höher). Ein Fly-Out ist kein EFT – es ist kein Fluglehrer dabei und es gibt keine Schulung. Gemeinsames Fliegen unter Vereinskollegen: neue Flugplätze und ein tolles Rahmenprogramm.
The fly-out is open to all licensed pilots (PPL or above). A fly-out is not an EFT – there is no flight instructor and no training. Flying together as club members: new airfields and a great programme on the ground.
Vom Club kommt die Idee, die Route und das Rahmenprogramm. Ob IFR oder VFR geflogen wird, entscheidet jeder PIC selbst.
The club provides the idea, the route and the programme. Whether to fly IFR or VFR is up to each PIC.
Hotels und Transport vor Ort müssen von den Teilnehmern selbst organisiert werden.

Passagiere sind herzlich willkommen und können auf Cost-Sharing-Basis oder nach individueller Absprache mit dem jeweiligen Piloten mitfliegen.
Passengers are very welcome and may fly along on a cost-sharing basis or under individual arrangements with the respective pilot.
